WHERE Alder Springs is our furthest foray into the great white north that is Mendocino County. Leytonville is just shy of 150 miles north of our home in Napa and is 100% worth the drive every time! Stu Bewley is one of the most passionate growers we work with and one of the most fun to visit as well. We are honored to be making several wine from this 16,000 acre estate.

HOW When this fruit arrived in our cellar it was instantly obviously that it would warrant its own bottling. With a nod to Chateau Rayas we fermented this wine 100% Whole Cluster and aged it in neutral french oak. This Wine sports the ideal combo of richness and brightness and is just as packed with red fruit as we can stand... an instant classic!!

WHEN They say Grenache delivers what Pinot 'promises' and this wine is no exception. A perfect pairing with that crispy skin duck you've been dreaming about or if your're feelign fancy bust out your truffle shaver and whip up some paperdelle with rabbit ragout.
